Handcrafted in Italy & issued in the year 1991 at a shelf price of $350, this item was made as part of a limited edition series of just 500. Each individual piece contains its unique edition number (this one being #494) etched into the underside wood. This, along with the Walt Disney Co. copyright, the made in “Italy" sticker tag, & the ANRI signature metal plaque as maker’s mark, can all be found on the bottom of each issue. The Walt Disney Company copyright can also be found along one side of the sculpture, etched into the wood there as well.
Only 500 of these exist in the world & no more will ever be made, making this piece one of the most sought after & charished Disney collectors’ items in existence.
This classic, truly timeless work of art ft. Pluto, who has a keg attached to his collar (this part is movable; can swing forward/backward), & sports an overjoyed grin on his face, as he looks down to see a flower blossoming up through the icey snow.
